Where are we eating this week in Paris? Check out our favourite four restaurants offering our taste buds a trip around the world right from the heart of the French capital.
In a rustic ambiance with bare stone walls, Biondi serves authentic Argentinian cuisine and local wine. Take a trip to Buenos Aires with empanadas, ceviche and of course steak, with aged prime rib on the menu. The contemporary take on the classic dishes are beautifully paired with local wines, bringing out the Argentinian flavour with every bite. Make sure to leave room for dessert, with a dulce de leche special not to be missed.
For a bite of Spain we are heading to Da Rosa's new Left Bank branch on Rue Grenelle. Artichoke hearts seasoned with pesto, Pan Con Tomate, and serrano ham fill our plates for a delectable tapas meal. The menu here also features dishes from Portugal and Italy, for a tour of the Mediterranean with pasta, risotto and salads.
Shiso Burger adds an Asian flavour to its burgers by wrapping its patties in bao buns. The steamed buns add a twist to the classic burger, with the soft and fluffy bread changing the fast food game and enhancing the mouthwatering experience by almost melting into and with the burger. The menu offers a variety of burgers including a classic burger, a cheeseburger and a salmon burger. Vegetarians aren't left out of the bao bun burger game either, with two options to choose from, a fried tofu patty or a succulent portobello mushroom.
For a slice of Italy, Baci Baci is our one-way ticket there. The casual eatery serves everything we love about Italian cuisine, pizza and pasta. Try the homemade pesto linguine or the traditional carbonara, and if you are in the mood for pizza, the margherita here is delicious, with just the right amount of cheese to tomato and topped with fresh basil. The trattoria also serves antipasti including mozzarella sticks, arancini balls and prosciutto.
