Where Will You Eat On World Pasta Day?

World Pasta Day is almost here and to celebrate we are sharing with you some of our favourite restaurants in Melbourne where you can indulge in your favourite pasta dish.

October 25 is World Pasta Day, creating the perfect excuse to indulge in everyone's favourite dish. To celebrate the delicious day Melbourne's Ombra restaurant is serving up its signature dishes as part of a five-course menu, which includes Mamma's Lasagne, Tortellini di Zucca with pumpkin, brown butter and sage, and Gnocchi alla Sorrentina with tomato, mozzarella and basil.


Other eateries worth visiting for a World Pasta Day treat


Funghi e Tartufo, located in Melbourne's famous Hardware Lane, this is an all-vegan Italian restaurant serving fresh pappardelle with truffle and mushroom sauce, and spaghetti carbonara.


Grill Americano, Melbourne's popular Italian restaurant, is where you need to reserve a table for an evening of cocktails and handmade pasta with lobster tortellini with chicken butter bisque and tarragon, and spanner crab linguine aglio e olio with chilli on the menu.


Brunetti, on Lygon Street, serves traditional Italian fare in a more relaxed setting. Open for lunch and dinner you can indulge in generous servings of ricotta and spinach cannelloni or gluten-free gnocchi before treating yourself to the eatery's popular desserts.
