Tell time with Chanel's new Mademoiselle Privé Bouton watch.
An extension of the haute joaillerie collection, Tweed de Chanel, which was presented during January’s Haute Couture Week in Paris, Chanel’s new timepiece, Mademoiselle Privé Bouton, is an exquisite trompe l’œil watch that borrows from the house's savoir-faire in couture for its creation. Much like the cuff bracelet from the joaillerie collection that from afar you were forgiven to think was a shirt cuff with its intertwined gold, diamonds and precious stones intricately woven to create the "tweed", at closer inspection the watch reveals the house's ingenuity with the couture detail of the button adorning the black tweed revealing a diamond-set dial. The Mademoiselle Privé Bouton watch collection features seven watches each with a different "button" including a pearl, a camellia, the house's signature flower, and the profile of Gabrielle Chanel.
