The Tippler & Co is celebrating 10 years of culinary delights with a new chef and new menu featuring delicious European influences.
The Tippler & Co, standing proud in what was previously Café Balzac, the very first restaurant in Victoria to be granted a restaurant liquor licence, is now one of our favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Celebrating 10 fabulous years of serving up modern Australian cuisine, The Tippler & Co is a must-try eatery for any foodie. Recently welcoming their new chef, the eatery now serves refined dishes with European influences. The signature dish here is the gnocchi, served with sage, butternut squash and creamy dollops of chèvre, you will also find steamed mussels cooked in white wine and parsley butter, and a porterhouse steak served with Baganda cauda butter, and do yourself a favour and order what we think is their signature side, the buttery soft serving of roasted pumpkin topped with roasted pine nuts and covered in grated Parmesan, delicious! The drinks here are great too with the amoretto sour one of the best in the city. Boasting three dining spaces including a quaint courtyard where locals are always welcome with their dogs, The Tippler & Co sits between the CBD and Richmond, across from the MCG, and makes for a wonderful spot for lunch or dinner before a match or with friends on any random night of the week.
