Tapas Night

In the 7th arrondissement of Paris, under the watchful eye of the glistening Eiffel Tower, is a new tapas bar where sharing plates are seasonal and the cocktails intoxicating.

After a turbulent 2020 with lockdowns in Paris forcing restaurants to close, Comptoir des Fables has finally reopened its doors to welcome you into its sociable world. The best table here is outside on the terrace, nestled between the charming Parisian buildings and surrounded by sweet flower pots, creating a convivial ambiance to sample the house's sharing plates. The Mediterranean dishes are seasonal with the chef working with fresh produce to put together his recipes to seduce the taste buds. To share or not to share is the real question when you see the menu that suggests dishes such as smoked sardines with potato and pickles, creamy hommus and fried artichokes, lamb and grilled jalapeños, and roasted rib steak seasoned with black garlic and served with roasted potatoes. Complementing the appetising tapas are the signature cocktails, which are mixed with artisanal syrups, and include Le Fils Prodige, a pisco-based drink mixed with lemongrass, agave syrup and bitters. The dessert menu is also designed to share, or not, with churros and a berry brioche, adding sweetness to the end of the meal.
