Step into the Whimsical World of Wes Anderson

Melbourne is hosting Accidentally Wes Anderson, a colourful photo exhibition taking you around the world in a style borrowed from American director, Wes Anderson.

If you love Wes Anderson's movies including The Royal Tenenbaums and the majestic The Grand Budapest Hotel then you will love stepping into his world at the Accidentally Wes Anderson exhibition. Taking a page out of his whimsical aesthetics, and reminiscent of his movies, the exhibition showcases photographs captured around the world by everyday travellers with images that could seemingly be stills from the director's very own movies. Founded by husband and wife Wally and Amanda, Accidentally Wes Anderson started off as an Instagram account, featuring stunning images that are "accidentally" in Wes Anderson's formalism style. The captivating exhibition features 10 thematic rooms including Classic Facades and Hotels, and the new Australia room with an open invitation to visitors to submit their very own "Accidentally Wes Anderson" image. This is a charming exhibition full of colour, charm and an inspirational voyage around the world.
