A wedding dress is always about love and with fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier love is celebrated in fantastical creations. Marvel at 38 wedding dresses designed by JGP as they are beautifully modelled at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade.
He is one of the most celebrated fashion designers of France, if not the world, and now Jean Paul Gaultier’s universe is being honoured in Serbia with a fashion exhibition that has already visited Melbourne and his hometown, Paris. Putting the spotlight on his love inspirations, the Love is Love: Wedding Bliss for All à la Jean Paul Gaultier show takes the audience on a whirlwind tour of the designer’s most famous wedding day creations. Taking place at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, the romantic exhibition showcases 38 haute couture wedding designs created between 1990 and 2020 by the designer. And while the show has already graced 12 cities around the world, Belgrade is the first city where an additional 8 Gaultier dresses will be shown for the very first time as part of the show, marking a world premiere for the Serbian capital.
