It's The City That Never Sleeps but New York's new hotel is making us want to snuggle up and never walk out of its doors.
The recently opened Hôtel Barrière Fouquet's New York in Tribeca marks the hotel group's first foray in the US and it is already proving to be a success, bringing the sophistication of the famous Parisian hotel to the pulsating vibe of New York. The hotel boasts 97 rooms and suites though the suite we are checking into is the presidential suite, Le Grand Appartement Terrase. The suite is sprawled over two floors and features three balconies, a dining room, two bathrooms, and of course a large suite with its own private terrace. With Art Deco accents, the suite is calming with pastel shades in pink and green creating a jewel-like décor for our luxurious stay.
A Fouquet's hotel is of course not a Fouquet's hotel without its famous Parisian brasserie, and the New York address stays true to the iconic establishment in Paris and boasts Fouquet's New York. The Big Apple's branch of the famous Champs-Elysées brasserie features a menu created by Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire and includes the popular signature dishes found in Paris as well as new dishes that reflect New York cuisine.
Overindulging on escargots and creamy millefeuilles is not a problem though with the hotel offering personal training sessions in its Spa Diane with workouts organised by The Dogpound and its trainer to the stars Kirk Myers. And for a complete relaxation moment nothing beats a massage in the spa before heading downstairs to the hotel's movie theatre for the ultimate movie night in, giving us more reason to never want to check-out.
