A date of street-side hot chocolate and spice cake just got ritzier in Paris.
The Ritz's restaurants may still be closed due to the Paris lockdown but that doesn't mean you cannot indulge in the landmark hotel's delicate treats. Until the 7th of January the plush hotel is hosting Le Petit Comptoir de Noël du Ritz Paris, the fanciest "food truck" the French city has ever seen. Serving decadent hot chocolate and desserts created by star pastry chef François Perret, the Petit Comptoir is a magical Christmas time rendezvous to treat yourself to a toasted brioche finger topped with melted dark chocolate or a Christmas tree spice cake while standing in front of the hotel overlooking the iconic Place Vendôme, and surrounded by twinkling trees. And don't forget to capture this very chic sidewalk treat with a selfie alongside the hotel's adorable mascot, César, a giant bear lit up with over 1600 LED light bulbs, to light up your evening with plenty of holiday cheer.
