April is your ticket to New Orleans with We Call It Jazz: A Journey Through the Heart of New Orleans. Transporting you to the Big Easy for an evening of jazz, the show will blend structured arrangements and improvisation compilations, with each show completely different from the next, capturing the genre's freedom in performance. Playing out in the Brunswick Ballroom in Melbourne, the setting is a nod to a 1920s New Orleans jazz bar with guests seated at tables from where you can take in the soulful sounds of the trumpet and saxophone with a cocktail in hand and sharing plates to nibble on with southern influences. We Call It Jazz: A Journey Through the Heart of New Orleans will be performing twice, at 6.30pm and 9pm on April 5, 13 and 27.
