Opera’s greatest thriller, Puccini’s Tosca, will take over Margaret Court Arena and if you’re 35 you can see it with a special offer from Opera Australia.
Margaret Court Arena will transform into an opera stage from Friday 24 May to host the Australian premiere of Puccini’s Tosca. For six performances only in Melbourne, the arena will boast an elevated platform behind the singers on stage to host the orchestra and a dramatic gilded dome that will rotate above the performers, revealing a painted renaissance fresco. To celebrate the opera, Opera Australia is launching the Opera for Under 35s program, offering 500 tickets at the special price of $35.
