Dining Al Fresco in Paris

Something that has remained the same in Paris between pre and post Covid-19 lockdown is the French capital’s love for its terraces. Now with the easing of restrictions some of our favourite al fresco hot spots are back in business just in time for summer.

In the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, overlooking the pristine gardens of the Palais du Louvre, is Loulou, where you can dine on contemporary Mediterranean cuisine while taking in a gorgeous view. Here you can sample refreshing salads, share a pizza or indulge in the best creamy pesto linguine in the city while you glimpse the Eiffel Tower on the right and the glass Louvre Pyramid on the left.

Overlooking the Trocadéro gardens, Girafe boasts what is arguably the best view in the city. With a spacious outdoor dining area facing the Eiffel Tower, this restaurant elegantly serves you Paris on a silver platter. The sophisticated seafood brasserie's menu includes oysters, seafood platters and caviar, best enjoyed with French champagne.

On the sprawling terrace of Palais de Tokyo is Monsieur Bleu, a contemporary French restaurant where you are invited to dine on the French classic, snails, or grilled octopus served with a warm corn salad. Overlooking the River Seine, just across from the Eiffel Tower, you can almost reach out and touch Paris's famous monument as it stands as a stunning backdrop to your night out in Paris.
