Bite into Ballarat’s Best Pies

Ballarat is hosting a pie competition that is calling all foodies for a delicious escape to the Sovereign Hill city.

Ballarat's Best Pie competition is returning with 20 pies up to grab the coveted culinary crown. The awards will be held on the 5th of August, however, throughout the month of August you can visit the 19 participating restaurants and cafés in Ballarat and savour the pies yourself. Savoury and sweet pies are on the Ballarat Pie Trail including lamb and rosemary, miso sweet potato and raspberry drop curd. Golden pastries and delicious fillings make this an appetising event for all foodies and the perfect excuse to discover Ballarat.
