An oldie but a goodie, chef Guy Martin has taken over Augustin, a bistro in Paris serving traditional French cuisine.
One of Paris's most popular bistros, Augustin, has been taken over by talented chef Guy Martin who has kept the traditional appeal of the establishment but has injected his own flair to the French fare staples. Dine on white asparagus served with a poached egg, creamy burrata cheese nestled on a bed of tomatoes, and seared cod served with beans and ham. The servings here a quite generous so pace yourself especially if you have a sweet tooth and love nothing more than dessert, which at Augustin means traditional French desserts such as Paris-Brest and molten chocolate cake. The bistro also serves some great wines by the glass including a Gautheron Chablis, and if you are more of a rosé there are a couple of options to choose from including M de Minuty.
