Paris's famous tea salon celebrates Maison Goutal's milestone 40th birthday with a limited edition cake.
Part of French culture, Angelina's hot chocolate is on everyone's list of things to experience when in Paris right up there with visiting the Eiffel Tower, and now there is another reason to visit the famous tea salon. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of perfume house Goutal, Angelina's pastry chef Christophe Appert has created a delicate dessert inspired by the perfumer's Petite Chérie fragrance. Presented in the same roundness of the perfume bottle and topped with a golden butterfly, the Petite Chérie delight is layered with an almond biscuit base, vanilla cream and white chocolate with rose and pear, a nod to the scent's signature notes, creating the perfect excuse to pause for afternoon tea. Be quick though as the Petite Chérie is available only through the month of September.
