Hotels, chocolatiers and department stores in Paris are celebrating Easter with tempting creations that any chocoholic will find difficult to resist.

Plush Hotel Lutetia is turning our chocolate egg into an edible puzzle that reveals a sailing ship that will take your tastebuds on a voyage through smooth dark chocolate, sweet white chocolate and crashing waves of hazelnut praline.

Trianon Palace in Versailles is taking inspiration from its royal garden and bringing edible bees and flowers made with creamy milk chocolate to our Easter celebrations.

Chocolatier Jeffrey Cagnes is answering our chocolate dreams with an oversized Easter egg that oozes gooey goodness of caramel and praline cream.

Another hotel pastry chef to draw inspiration from the great beauty of the outdoors is Matthieu Carlin of the very chic Hôtel de Crillon. The chef's Easter egg is a chocolate sculpture made with dark chocolate and features a flying butterfly filled with an original red quinoa praline.

For the high street version of Easter eggs, Paris's iconic La Samaritaine department store is bringing us an irresistible Le Chocolat des Français egg that is filled with cream-filled mini eggs that may be too good to share.
