Get your bow and arrow ready for an original day out in the City of Love.
On Wednesday the 25th of August, the French Federation of Archery is hosting a public event in the Jardins du Trocadéro, overlooking the Eiffel Tower, inviting professionals as well as amateurs to get their aim game on. From 2pm to 8pm, the free outdoor event is an exciting way to spend the day, partaking in quite the original afternoon in the French capital. Stands will be set up for anyone wanting to learn how to use a bow and arrow while the Museum of Archery, Musée de l'Archerie, will be showcasing pieces from its current exhibition, highlighting the history of archery and the Olympic Games. The highlight of the event is of course the archery show with championship award-winning French archers showing off their talents, including Lisa Barbelin who recently returned from Tokyo where she represented France in the Olympics. Please note that due to current Covid restrictions a vaccine certificate is required to gain access to the event.
