The Ritz Paris has brought its special kind of sparkle to the hipster trend of food trucks.
The star pastry chef from Netflix's The Chef in a Truck, François Perret, embarked on a road trip throughout California discovering street food and desserts that Americans love. He brought his French touch and introduced locals to his style in pastry-making. Now, the Ritz Paris head pastry chef has brought his show's creations from the road to Place Vendôme in Paris, opening Le Petit Comptoir right in front of the famous hotel. If you are lucky enough to be in the French capital you can discover Perret's take on American desserts including his fancy version of the popular campfire treat S'more made with a puff pastry filled with chocolate ice-cream and coated with chocolate and topped with toasted marshmallow.
