Forget drive-ins, Paris is changing the rules and introducing the row-in.
To mark the opening of this year's Paris Plage, which sees the banks of the River Seine turn into an urban beach for the summer, the Bassin de la Villette will be hosting Le Cinéma sur l'Eau, a floating movie theatre on the 18th of July. The first of its kind in the French capital, Le Cinéma sur l'Eau will be screening Le Grand Bain, a French comedy starring Guillaume Canet. The pop-up movie theatre is a fun way to hit the "beach"and promises to be quite the original way of going to the cinema without facing any social distancing problems, so grap your rosé and popcorn, and row your way to an unforgettable night at the movies.
