8 Updates to Fashion Staples

This week we're updating our fashion with 8 finds that are bringing us effortless style that we're dressing up and down, getting the most of each piece.

Ecco is putting us in the mood for sophisticated summer style with their new Agents of Harmony collection of leather goods. Designed for hands-free comfort and style, we love the Sail Bag Compact, which comes in Pastel Lilac, adding a touch of colour to a monotone look or clashing with your favourite colour. The bag is designed with soft pleats and darted contours that create a voluminous bag that folds comfortably under the arm if held over the shoulder.

Nothing completes a wardrobe like a crisp white shirt. Dressed up or down with a pencil skirt or worn with jeans, the simple white shirt is a must-have staple and we're turning to high street store Gap for their Fitted Boyfriend Shirt to add to our staples list.

Ugg Express are not just about Ugg boots, they're also adorning our feet with stylish sandals, and we're loving this black pair with gold detailing to team with a maxi dress.

Bubble skirts are back from the 80s albeit a little bit sleeker and Victoria/Tomas are making us head back to the decade when Madonna reigned supreme in the fashion stakes. The French ready-to-wear brand shows us how to don a bubble skirt without slipping into the fashion fails of the decade, and it's all about simple matches and minimising over-the-top accessories.

Another label embracing the 80s is Seven/August and once again we see the trends of the decade reimagined with toned down detailing to fit seamlessly into our 2022 fashion sense. Dramatic shoulders are given a makeover with the French label adding delicate yet structured ruffles to the shoulders of their London Blouse.

Vanessa Hudgens has teamed up with Fabletics once again with a new capsule collection made up of 13 pieces with our eyes settling on this textured faux mohair dress. Designed as a nod to the 90s, the dress works perfectly with biker boots and a denim jacket or sneakers and an oversized boyfriend white shirt.

We love a necklace stack especially when stars are involved. Pandora's new collection, dropping in time for the festive season, brings us pavé gems to stack with asymmetrical stars sitting perfectly next to sparkly snowflakes.

Recreating the romance of corsets is Primark with this floral offering. We're dressing up ours with a full tulle skirt and heels with crystal detailing, and when we're keeping it casual we're pairing it with loose-fitting cargos and sneakers.
